Edward J. Bosti Elementary students in the Connetquot Central School District put pen to paper for a special cause.
Observed during Breast Cancer Awareness Month, Pink Ribbon Day helps raise awareness about breast cancer while showing support for those affected by the disease. During Pink Ribbon Day at Edward J. Bosti Elementary, classes created cards with uplifting messages for women currently undergoing treatment. The cards will be sent to the West Islip Breast Cancer Coalition, sending a little extra support to those who need it most.
