Chatterton Student Council helping patients in recovery

February 9, 2021 By Team Up 4 Community Leave a Comment

Students at Chatterton Elementary School, within the Merrick School District, have made it their mission to collect new and gently used adult shoes to benefit adolescents and adults with mental health recovery challenges.

The Chatterton Student Council has partnered with Zucker Hillside Hospital, a Northwell Health affiliate, to donate the requested items to help make patients’ hospital stays more comfortable.

As with past collections and drives, the student council strives to provide much needed aid to its local communities and truly appreciates all of the generosity and continued support.”
