The East Quogue School District community’s compassion and support flourished, having raised $29,000 for Relay for Life, $5,000 more than the community’s fundraising goal. The Relay for Life event provided the school community with a meaningful opportunity to honor cancer survivors, commemorate the lives of those lost, and to join forces in the fight against cancer.
Superintendent of Schools Michael Miller said, “This incredible achievement speaks volumes about our collective commitment to making a difference in the lives of those affected by cancer. Together, we have shown that when we come together as a community, there is no limit to what we can accomplish. Thank you for embodying the spirit of compassion, generosity, and unity that defines our school community.”
