Fourth graders in Loren Levine’s class at Elwood’s James H. Boyd Intermediate School worked extra hard to give back this Thanksgiving, creating gift bags for families staying at Ronald McDonald House. The thoughtful Boyd students included a turkey craft, snacks and even some of their Halloween candy to make the bags extra special.
Ronald McDonald House provides a temporary “home-away-from-home” for families with a child receiving medical treatment at a nearby hospital.
