About:

On Sunday, October 18, 2015, at Riverside Park in Manhattan, the Queens College men’s tennis team and track and field squads volunteered at The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Over a thousand people were present showing their support for the important cause.

The teams showed great enthusiasm at the event, while helping and supporting with anything they could, setting up breakfast tables, registering people for upcoming charity events and even greeting walkers at the finish line.

The event was a success raising hundreds of thousands of dollars in the fight against Alzheimer’s. It was also another great bonding experience for the team.
