About:
The Miracle League of Long Island’s mission is to establish and sustain baseball programs for people (of all ages) with disabilities. Our objective is to provide an opportunity for those individuals to experience the joy and benefits that come from playing our national pastime. Our aims are to help the league’s players develop social skills and increase self esteem, while promoting community support and sponsorship for the league. We believe everyone deserves the chance to play baseball!
Recently we hosted an event called Baseball with Santa.
St. Joe’s soccer team had 20 athletes volunteer and the West Islip Kick Line had 12 athletes volunteer.
I want to personally thank everyone who participated for the special morning we shared. It was a memorable event. The kids sat for a yummy breakfast and were eager to see their coaches and friends from The Miracle League. The indoor baseball game was so much fun!!
I can’t thank you enough for the time, dedication and love you put into each week of games and the other events and activities you run.
Merry Christmas to all of you from our family to yours!
