About:
Pembroke Titans Baseball continued to strengthen the connection between the program’s past, present, and future by committing to consistent, hands-on service within the local community—starting with meaningful support of youth baseball.
Student-athletes regularly volunteered their time and energy at youth baseball camps, leading drills, offering instruction, and encouraging younger players throughout each session. During camps, 10–15 Titans participated every Sunday, dedicating two to three hours to working with youth athletes. For many players, the experience was especially meaningful, as they returned to the same fields and programs where they first learned the game themselves.
Since taking over the program three years ago, the coaching staff has made community service a core priority, intentionally creating opportunities for the entire team to give back. One of the program’s most impactful commitments has been its weekly involvement with the youth baseball program, with the full team consistently stepping up whenever volunteers are needed. This ongoing presence has helped build strong relationships between the high school and youth levels while reinforcing the importance of leadership and mentorship.
The Titans’ service extended well beyond baseball. Each year during the season, the team dedicated an afternoon after school to the Best Buddies program, playing kickball or wiffle ball and building meaningful connections rooted in inclusion, friendship, and fun. During the winter months, players also volunteered throughout the community, helping residents who were unable to shovel snow on their own in challenging weather.
In addition, the program remained active during April vacation, volunteering at outdoor youth baseball camps and continuing its commitment to supporting the next generation of players.
Through these consistent efforts, Pembroke High School Baseball demonstrated that leadership is built through presence, compassion, and reliability. By showing up week after week and season after season, the Titans proved that the true strength of a program is measured not only by performance on the field but also by the positive, lasting impact its student-athletes make in their community.
