About:
On Tuesday September 23, the Smithtown High School East boys varsity soccer team, in conjunction with the HSE Leadership class, hosted a soccer game to raise awareness and donations for Angela’s House, a local non-profit organization that provides medical assistance and services for children with severe medical ailments. The charity event raised over $1,200 for Angela’s House and highlighted the importance of community service and selfless acts of charity within the community. HSE punctuated the day with a 3-2 victory over Half Hollow Hills East. HSE boys varsity soccer coach Mike Menendez would like to thank all of the players, students, parents, support staff and local businesses who helped to make the event a great success.
