About:
For Alayna Adamez, service is not an obligation—it’s a calling shaped by gratitude, mentorship, and a deep commitment to giving back. As a senior captain of Park Girls Hockey, Alayna has spent years positively influencing young athletes at every stage of their development, using sports as a platform to teach confidence, accountability, and perseverance.
Throughout her journey, Alayna has been actively involved in coaching and mentoring. She has worked within the CGAA Hockey Program, helping develop young goalies and encouraging them to pursue their goals. She has also supported softball players as a hitting and catching coach with organizations such as the Spartacats, Skeeters, and Minnesota Magic—sharing technical skills while fostering a love for the game.
As a young athlete herself, Alayna benefited from strong mentors who set high expectations and taught her that excellence is earned. Today, she strives to be that same role model for the next generation. Over the years, she has worked at goalie and softball camps, volunteered as a catching and goalie coach for 10-and-under teams, and even assisted boys’ baseball teams with catcher development—demonstrating a willingness to serve wherever she is needed.
Beyond traditional athletics, Alayna has volunteered with the Miracle League, helping athletes with disabilities experience the joy of sport. She has also volunteered multiple times with Feed My Starving Children, serving alongside teammates and community members to help provide meals to children in need.
Leadership has been another cornerstone of Alayna’s high school experience. As a WEB Leader and a member of Leaders of the Pack, she has helped incoming freshmen navigate the transition to high school—creating a welcoming, inclusive environment and setting an example through engagement and compassion. Her involvement in the National Honor Society further reflects her belief that service should extend beyond minimum requirements.
Alayna views giving back as both a responsibility and a privilege. She is deeply thankful for the abilities she has been given and believes it is important to share her experiences to uplift others. To her, legacy is not measured by personal accolades but by the positivity, kindness, and opportunities left behind for those who follow.
Through mentorship, service, and leadership, Alayna Adamez exemplifies what it means to use athletics as a force for good—leaving a lasting impact on her community and inspiring others to do the same.
