Every year the Longwood Varsity Cheerleaders like to give back to the community in some capacity. This year the girls walked in the Making Strides of Eastern Long Island Breast Cancer Walk. They chose this event because each one of them knew and loved someone who was affected by this disease. They met bright and early on Sunday October 22, 2017 to unite with their community and walk the campus of Suffolk County Community College to honor breast cancer survivors and their loved ones. We raised $710 to help fight this disease and are so proud of these girls who consistently show that Longwood is made of Pride, Spirit, Heart!
