About:

Over the last two weeks, the Molloy College men’s lacrosse team took part in two community service endeavors. At John J. Burns Park in Massapequa, N.Y. on Sunday, Sept. 21, all 35 players participated in the 7th Annual Town of Oyster Bay Walk for Autism. This event benefits the Fay J. Lindner Center for Autism & Developmental Disabilities.

On Sunday, Sept. 28, at the South Nassau Hospital 5k Run/Walk, the squad helped direct runners on the course and assisted at the First Aid booth. The 5k Run/Walk, which was the 23rd Annual “Communities for a Cure” event, benefitted South Nassau’s Breast/GYN Health and Gertrude & Louis Feil Cancer Centers.
