About:
Our team did an event called Play For The Cure which raises money for cancer research.
The girls are in charge of the game, they organize it all.
We sell 50/50 and baked goods and any other items they may decide. This year we sold bags that were donated to us from a local business. The girls sell the 50/50 tickets a week before the game and also at the game.
This year we raised a little over $300. The girls also wear different uniforms for the game (pink jerseys) they wear them to school on the game day to show support for Breast cancer.
