About:
The High School East and West boys varsity lacrosse teams recently joined together to raise awareness and $1,000 for Angela’s House, a local non-profit organization that provides medical assistance and services for children with severe medical ailments. Each squad raised $500 through the sales of t-shirts promoting the April 29 game, when the two teams squared off against each another. Together the captains and coaches from both teams presented a representative from Angela’s House with a donation check prior to the game.
Congratulations to both teams and their coaches on a job well done. In the fall, the boys varsity soccer teams from High Schools East and West each hosted a fundraiser for Angela’s House during two inter-district matchups. For more information, go to www.angelashouse.org.
