About:

On November 7th, the team continued its efforts to serve the community and volunteered at the annual Special Olympics DC 2014 Fall Basketball Championship. There the student-athletes assisted the participating teams with drills and warm ups, and also performed game day operations tasks such as operating the clock and announcing players.

“Special Olympics and Food & Friends are both tremendous organizations to get involved with, and we feel the work we do for both is very meaningful and rewarding,” head coach Lester Butler, Jr. said after the two community service outings.
