About:
We’ve been doing this for about 4 years now….25 athletes (varsity hockey team) participate. We usually meet with the class about once a month minimal. Each session is about 40 minutes. We run a buddy program with the 2nd grade class to create strong positive relationships. The 2nd graders also attend a few of our hockey games during the season as well. It’s a win/win for both the 2nd graders as well as the high school students (team). Lots of smiles on kids’ faces.
