John Pearl Elementary School feels it is important to give back to the community. Organized by teacher aide Maryetta Durkalski, students held a drive for the Town of Islip’s Animal Shelter. The students collected blankets, toys, food and more.
Mrs. Durkalski stated, “I’m really happy that everyone participated in this important drive, because they will be helping out so many pets at the shelter that need supplies.”
