John Street School spread holiday cheer by participating in two heartwarming toy drives in December. New, unwrapped toys were collected for the Ronald McDonald House in Glen Oaks, the John Theissen Children’s Foundation and the NYU Langone Child Life Program. The Ronald McDonald House drive was organized by the school’s PTA, while the second drive was presented in partnership with New York State Assemblyman Ed Ra.
These meaningful drives helped students embrace the true spirit of giving. By contributing to those in need, students learned firsthand how small acts of kindness can make a big difference.
