Memorial Junior High School held its inaugural Winter Wonderland Carnival on Dec. 8, and the event was a great success! While providing a festive opportunity for fun and celebrations, Memorial raised $1,657 for the Only Love Foundation. The organization builds schools in underdeveloped countries around the globe, mobilizes educational supplies and creates programs to enhance each community issue effecting prosperity.
More than 40 Memorial students and numerous parents and faculty members volunteered their time, donated items and worked hard to carry out an outstanding event. Children enjoyed a visit from Santa, carnival games, cotton candy, slime, crafts, popcorn and much more.
