Photo caption: The Connetquot High School boys and girls volleyball teams recently held a community car wash at the Lakeland Fire Department to raise money for teammate Liam Flattery and his family. The goal of this fundraiser was to lessen the financial burden on Flattery’s family while he bravely battles kidney disease.
“Our student-athletes are absolutely amazing, caring and supportive,” said boys volleyball coach Jessica Perry. “Thanks to them, we raised $3,217 in just four hours.” Connetquot Central School District thanks all involved for rallying around this important cause.
