Rocky Point High School students recently enjoyed an active way to help veterans in the local community when they participated in a “Volley for Vets” volleyball tournament. The generous Rocky Point community helped to raise $1,000 for the Rocky Point VFW 6249.
The event was organized by Rocky Point High School art teacher Seth Meier. The students invited Rocky Point VFW Commander Joseph A. Cognitore to the school to present him with the check.
