The Sartell Activities Office, along with the football, volleyball, and boys hockey teams, has partnered with St. Cloud Financial and St. Cloud Subaru to raise awareness and funds for cancer research throughout the 2025–26 school year.
Three exciting cancer awareness games are planned:
-
Tackle Football vs. Alexandria – Friday, [Date]
-
Dig Pink Volleyball vs. Brainerd – Thursday, September 25
-
Stick It to Cancer Hockey vs. River Lakes – Thursday, January 15
At each event, donations are being collected and merchandise sold, with proceeds benefiting the Randy Shaver Cancer Research Foundation and the TriUnity Foundation. Fans can purchase $20 t-shirts at the activities office or through the online store, and donation helmets and booths will be available at all three events.
With support from St. Cloud Financial, Eric Perkins has helped amplify the message. A promotional video has been shared across social media, school monitors, and volleyball game video boards to further engage the community.
Special Tackle Cancer Feature
During the football game, fans who wear pink receive a raffle ticket. Students, parents, community members, and visiting fans are all eligible. Three raffle winners will compete in a half-time throwing competition, with prizes including Vikings tickets, a PS5, and a 75-inch TV. This fun twist is designed to encourage fans to “pink out” the stands and show their support for this important cause.
The Sartell community invites everyone to support these events and make a meaningful impact in the fight against cancer.
