The Relay For Life team at Smithtown High School West recently racked up another first-place win. The competition was called “Fund the Mission” and it was to see who can raise the most money in a 72-hour span.
The West team raised nearly $11,000 and was the number one fundraising high school in the nation.
This is the second year in a row High School West has won this competition. The district gives a special shout out to students Jessica Amado and Julia Pappas who both finished in the top 10 in individual fundraising.
