Valley Stream Central High School District’s Memorial Junior High School’s seventh grade adviser Ms. Amanda Milano organized a community service breakfast in the school’s cafeteria. Seventh, eighth and ninth graders teamed up for the event and created cards for children in the NYU Winthrop Hospital, which is now called NYU Langone Hospital—Long Island. Students were excited to craft these holiday greeting cards, as a way to put smiles on the faces of many children.
