About:
The Middle Country Children’s Soccer community came together in a big way to support local families during their annual Food Drive. Thanks to the generosity of players, families, and community members, the event was a great success — with all donations going directly to local food banks to help those in need.
Because of the overwhelming response, the organization announced that the Food Drive has been extended for one more week to continue collecting non-perishable food items. Every contribution helps make a difference, and the community’s outpouring of support has been truly inspiring.
Next up, MCCS is keeping the momentum going with its Toy Drive on Saturday, November 8, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Eugene Auer Elementary School in Lake Grove. The Toy Drive will help bring smiles to local children by collecting new, unwrapped toys for kids and teens, from newborns to 17 years old.
The program encourages everyone to come together once again — let’s do it again for the kids!
A heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has donated and volunteered so far. Your kindness and continued support embody the true spirit of community.
