The Rocky Point High School Student Council and class officers for grades 9–12 were in the holiday spirit as they participated in the U.S. Marine Corps Reserve’s Toys for Tots campaign. From Dec. 1-15, they collected approximately 100 toys for children across Suffolk County.
Donations from students, families and staff filled multiple collection bins throughout the school, demonstrating a strong spirit of generosity during the holiday season. The annual campaign provided students with an opportunity to give back while helping ensure local children experience the joy of the holidays.
School leaders noted that initiatives like Toys for Tots strengthen the Rocky Point community by encouraging civic responsibility and compassion among students, particularly at a time of year centered on giving and connection.
