Students at John F. Kennedy High School recently combined fitness, teamwork, and community service to support a meaningful cause. Through a SoulCycle charity ride, the school community came together to raise $950 for Special Olympics New York.
The event brought together students and supporters who participated in the energetic ride while raising awareness and funds to support athletes with intellectual disabilities. The effort reflects the strong commitment of JFK students to giving back and supporting inclusive opportunities through sports.
Funds raised from the ride will help support Special Olympics New York, an organization dedicated to providing year-round sports training and athletic competition for individuals with intellectual disabilities while promoting inclusion and community engagement.
The fundraising effort doesn’t stop there. The JFK community is continuing its support through additional collection efforts tied to the upcoming “Dancing with the Teachers” event, where students and faculty will come together for another night of school spirit and charitable giving.
