About:
Hofstra Pride Softball recently stepped up to the plate for a meaningful cause by hosting a postgame Home Run Derby in support of Multiple Sclerosis awareness.
Held at Bill Edwards Stadium following a Hofstra softball game, the event invited supporters to participate in the derby while helping raise awareness and support for those impacted by Multiple Sclerosis. Participants had the opportunity to step into the batter’s box for a fun and engaging community event tied to an important cause.
By combining athletics with advocacy, Hofstra Softball once again demonstrated how sports can serve as a platform for connection, awareness, and giving back. The event brought together players, fans, and community members in support of raising awareness surrounding MS and those affected by it.
Initiatives like this continue to show the positive impact athletic programs can make both on and off the field while inspiring others to rally around meaningful causes.
