Mustangs Kick Out Cancer
The special evening brought together two meaningful occasions as Medway recognized its senior soccer players and dedicated the game to cancer awareness.
Through their Kick Out Cancer initiative, the Mustangs helped bring attention to individuals and families affected by cancer while demonstrating how athletics can serve as a platform for unity, compassion, and community support.
The event highlighted the importance of coming together for something greater than competition.
Celebrating Seniors and Community Spirit
Senior Night is a special tradition in high school athletics, recognizing student-athletes for their hard work, leadership, and dedication throughout their high school careers.
By pairing Senior Night with Kick Out Cancer, Medway created an opportunity to celebrate its seniors while encouraging its school community to recognize an important cause.
The evening reflected the values of teamwork, sportsmanship, and compassion that extend beyond the soccer field.
Making an Impact Beyond the Game
Special awareness events like Kick Out Cancer demonstrate how high school sports can bring communities together and inspire student-athletes to make a positive difference.
Through this initiative, the Medway Boys Soccer program helped shine a light on cancer awareness while celebrating the contributions of its graduating seniors.
