About:
The Bishop Feehan High School Girls Volleyball program is bringing its school community together for a meaningful cause on October 26, hosting a special Dig Pink Game against Andover High School in recognition of Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The Shamrocks are using their home matchup as an opportunity to raise awareness and show support for individuals and families affected by breast cancer, demonstrating how high school athletics can make a difference beyond competition.
Shamrocks Dig Pink for a Cause
The Dig Pink Game provides an opportunity for Bishop Feehan student-athletes, coaches, families, and fans to unite around a cause greater than volleyball.
By dedicating the matchup to breast cancer awareness, the Shamrocks are helping shine a light on an important issue while encouraging compassion, teamwork, and community involvement.
The event also brings together two Massachusetts volleyball programs, showing how athletes can share a common purpose even while competing on opposite sides of the net.
Using Volleyball to Make a Difference
Breast Cancer Awareness Month provides an opportunity for athletic programs to recognize those affected by the disease and encourage their communities to show support.
For Bishop Feehan, Dig Pink represents another way student-athletes can use their platform to inspire others and demonstrate the importance of supporting causes beyond the game.
Whether through awareness, community participation, or encouraging conversations about breast cancer, events like these highlight the positive influence student-athletes can have.
Making an Impact Beyond the Court
Through its Dig Pink Game, the Bishop Feehan Girls Volleyball program is demonstrating how sports can bring people together and encourage meaningful community involvement.
