The Concord-Carlisle Boys Hockey team, known as Team CC Puck, made a remarkable impact during the Mighty Moose Race, honoring the memory of Jenna Swaim, mother of one of their goaltenders, Jason Swaim. With 22 runners and numerous volunteers, the team came out in full force to support ovarian cancer research, raising an impressive $3,935 for the cause.
The Mighty Moose Race is the highlight of Concord-Carlisle’s Kicks for Cancer weekend, where nearly all fall sports teams at CCHS compete to raise funds and awareness for cancer research. This annual event not only brings together student-athletes but also unites the community in the fight against cancer.
Team CC Puck’s participation exemplifies how student-athletes can make a difference both on and off the ice. Their dedication to honoring those affected by cancer and contributing to vital research efforts is truly commendable.
