The National Junior Honor Society at Massapequa High School’s Ames Campus recently hosted its annual Thanksgiving food drive. During the collection, which ran from Oct. 15 to Nov. 7, ninth-graders were encouraged to donate non-perishable items such as soup, canned vegetables and cereal. The school filled 30 boxes, which were donated to the food pantry at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Massapequa Park.
