About:
The girls participated in the walk performing a variety of tasks from checking in participants to assisting at water stations and the starting point as well as the finish line. The 20 plus players cheered on finishers and helped with the breakdown.
Yearly the volleyball team, under the leadership and direction of the captains, Adrie Waldinger and Erin Workman, takes part in this event. While the community service is helpful to the event the take away from the girls side is unparalleled serving such a great cause. The event brings the girls closer together off of the court and continues to be a highlight year after year.
