The Varsity team enthusiastically participated in the Elementary Book Bash, where they were thrilled to witness the children’s excitement for such a wonderful event! Engaging with the future of the program, the girls connected with the kids through various activities and shared their Bulldog spirit.
In an effort to promote reading throughout the Beacon district, elementary school principals invited students and parents to join local authors for children’s book readings, along with special “guest readers” such as firefighters, local politicians, and members of the school district.
During breaks between sessions, the Varsity Softball Team volunteered to supervise and engage the children in various activities. The team colored with them and even had one of the players dress up as the Beacon Bulldog, leading a dance party and photo session with the kids.
