About:
For many years now I have made it a point to give back to my community and those in need, the catalyst for this was my youngest son surviving a Stage IV cancer diagnosis and all that was done for us during those difficult times. I have made sure that this was a part of the culture of every team that I have coached since then including the girls varsity tennis team here at Beverly. Our school has had a great working relationship with Beverly Bootstraps for some time now but I believe my athletes have gone above and beyond what other programs are doing. We not only collect specific food items they need each year, this season it was peanut butter, but my athletes also collected 73 pounds of snacks for the young children they serve. We also spent a day touring their entire facility so my athletes could learn about all the services Beverly Bootstraps offer and the surrounding communities they serve. When my athletes finished the tour of the facility we took the 73lbs of snacks and packed individual snack bags which are given out to students in need at the local schools on friday to take home over the weekend. Beverly Bootstraps does this to ensure students in need have access to food when school is not in session over the weekend.

I am a firm believer in Sport Psychology and putting student athlete mental health at the forefront of what we do. Coach Danielle Hartford (Field Hockey/Lacrosse) really deserves the credit for this as I understand it and could possibly provide even more information about this, but I do believe that during our match the softball team was having their Morgans Message game as well. In between the court and the field girls were selling concessions to raise money I belie
