About:
ROCKVILLE CENTRE, N.Y. (Nov. 18, 2015) – Cheerleading is not for everyone, in that it takes a heightened level of trust and communication to achieve perfect routines and execute dynamic spots with flawless precision. For the Molloy College cheerleading team, helping future cheerleaders took on a whole new meaning on Saturday (Nov. 14) as several members of the squad participated in a cheerleading clinic at the Mill Neck School for the Deaf.
“They are performing at a tournament in February,” said Head Coach Caitlin Donach, “in Jackson Heights at Lexington School for the Deaf. They will compete with other schools for the deaf from the surrounding Tri-State Area and they wanted to learn new and exciting stunts. We have now made friends for life there and they will be visiting us for an upcoming basketball game!”
