During the Socktober sock drive, the second grade student council at Deer Park’s John Quincy Adams Primary School collected many pairs of socks to donate to those in need within the community.
“The support and contributions from the Deer Park community are truly appreciated and will make a strong impact, providing warmth and comfort to those in need,” Associate Principal Dr. Lynn Coyle said. “Socks are always the least donated item and will be greatly needed as the colder months approach.”
