About:
On January 15th, Westlake Athletics actively participated in three youth clinics. Varsity student-athletes from Boys Basketball, Girls Basketball, and Cheerleading dedicated their time to give back to the Mt. Pleasant community. The Girls Basketball and Cheerleading programs hosted clinics for children in the community, ranging from Kindergarten to 5th grade. These clinics focused on developing skills, techniques, and performances throughout the day, all under the guidance of their Varsity athletes.
In addition, the Boys Basketball program made an off-site visit to Holy Rosary Parish, where they worked with 3rd graders, helping them improve their skills and guiding them through various drills. The school takes great pride in its student-athletes and their leadership roles during these Youth Clinics. It’s truly impressive to witness their initiative in giving back to the community and in working with the future Wildcats!
