New Hyde Park Memorial High School’s Future Business Leaders of America recently held its annual Thanksgiving food drive.
This year, the club collected a record number of canned and nonperishable food items for less fortunate families in the community. All items were donated to the St. Vincent de Paul’s Youth Outreach Program in Elmont. The food drive coincided with the annual Dress to Impress Breakfast, at which all club members donated two canned food items and expressed their pride in helping those less fortunate.
The food drive was a huge success, and the club looks forward to a healthy and prosperous 2019!
