Four West Islip High School students – Isabella D’Avanzo, Lily Gilmore, Samantha Landhauser and Edward Smith – were inducted as Keep Islip Clean Junior Commissioners at an Oct. 10 Islip Town Hall West ceremony. The Junior Commissioner program selects high schoolers in the township of Islip to assist Keep Islip Clean in recycling and town beautification initiatives.
