About:
Rocky Point High School’s baseball teams continued their tradition of giving to others during a recent community service project at Maureen’s Haven homeless shelter. Under the leadership of coaches Andrew Aschettino and Eric Strovink, the students prepared for their visit by collecting hot meals, socks, homemade goodies and over 120 $5 fast food gift cards. During their visit, they presented the shelter director with their donations and spent time setting up the location for an upcoming meal.
