Location:

About:

To make the holiday season bright for one local family, the Westhampton Beach High School’s Interact Club which includes student athletes, raised enough funds to fulfill all their holiday wishes. To accomplish their goal, the club members held several bake sales and used the money they raised to purchase items off the families’ holiday wish list at Target. Following the shopping expedition, the students, participated in a wrapping party where they listened to holiday music, ate cookies, drank hot chocolate and showed off their best wrapping skills.

“This community service project is truly the highlight of our club and brings out the best that our students have to offer” said Carrie Bender, Interact Club adviser. All of the families’ gifts will be delivered to the Church of the Immaculate Conception who will distribute them.
