About:
Junior Chamber of Commerce Raises $500 for Kids Need More For the past few months, members of the Walter G. O’Connell Copiague High School Junior Chamber of Commerce, along with adviser Linda Aims, sold bagels before school in an effort to raise money for Kids Need More, an organization that provides summer camp to children battling cancer. Through their collective efforts, the student organization raised $500 for the charity. Kids Need More founder Melissa Firmes and her husband John Firmes recently visited the Copiague students to personally thank them for their contribution and to inform them that the money they raised will go toward a fishing expedition at the camp this summer.
