Sport: Schools

Date: June 16, 2015

Location:

About:

Northside Elementary School’s student council sponsored a walk-a-thon to benefit the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, raising more than $1,500 for research on this debilitating and often fatal disease.

During the walk-a-thon, all students in grades K-5 walked a number of laps along the perimeter of the school building. Each of the Levittown students collected five-dollar pledges prior to the event.
