Students at South Middle School in the Lynbrook School District united their peers in support of a schoolwide donation drive through the month of December.
The National Junior Honor Society coordinated a donation drive to benefit furry friends in need at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter. They assembled nonperishable pet food for dogs, cats and other animals, as well as blankets and toys that will keep them warm and entertained. As a group, National Junior Honor Society members will deliver their donations to the shelter in time for the holiday season.
