Girls in Sports Day is an annual event at Putnam Valley to celebrate and promote the continuous increase in participation amongst girls in the athletic program. The event provides our youngest athletes with the opportunity to meet our varsity coaches and athletes and enjoy a day of sports with their friends and families! This year’s event featured over 100 Putnam Valley girls in grades K-6, who, with the help of over 40 Varsity athletes and coaches, had the opportunity to learn about, and develop their skills, in Cheerleading, Field Hockey, Soccer, Volleyball, Basketball, Softball, Lacrosse and Track.
