About:
The Physical Education Leadership class spent a day volunteering their time at the May Brennan Inn in Hempstead. The 30 students spent the day sorting clothes, stocking the food pantry, moving furniture and serving lunch and coffee to the clients of the INN. Over 200 lunches were served. The students also helped the clients shop for groceries in the food pantry and hand out Easter baskets. The PEL students also ran a food drive and towel collection and donated those items that day.
