About:
The team gathered items and funds to acquire essentials for crafting “Blessing Bags” intended for homeless and displaced teenagers. Additionally, the team accumulated non-perishable items, all earmarked for donations to both Hope for Youth and the Long Island Coalition for the Homeless.
Hope for Youth offers a range of outreach services for young people, including providing safe havens for runaway and homeless teenagers, temporary housing for youths working towards reunification with their families, and facilitating therapeutic group homes to assist teenagers in developing independent living skills.
The Long Island Coalition for the Homeless extends its services and outreach to support all homeless individuals and families throughout Long Island.
