The Birthday Wishes Donation Drive will utilize the venue of either the girls’ or boys’ basketball games, or the girls’ volleyball game, as platforms to raise awareness about the club’s mission.
Thanks to the introduction to “TeamUp4Community,” they plan to involve athletes in the box-filling process.
With most of the necessary items gathered, they are in need of a bit more funding to complete their supplies.
Once they have secured everything, wthey will commence assembling the boxes.
Announcements will be made in their school broadcasts and invitations extended to the coaches. Athletes will be invited to participate in filling the boxes, the final step of their project.
Seeing the boxes filled brings a sense of accomplishment to the kids; this year, they aim to fill fifty boxes! Once filled, the boxes will be transported to the organization in Natick.
