Sewanhaka High School’s SkillsUSA and Green Club (which includes student athletes) teamed up in an effort to bring joy to children in the community.
The club members collected toys throughout November and December for the Elmont Gateway Youth Outreach program, which were distributed to children at the organization’s annual Christmas party. The Green Club raised funds to purchase its toy donations by redeeming bottles and cans that were collected in the school’s
