Hundreds of Angel Tag items were collected at Miller Avenue School and Wading River School and presented to the Salvation Army for distribution to families in need.
The Shoreham-Wading River School District thanks the generous families in the community for their gifts as well as Miller Avenue School teachers Katie Carlson and Alice Steinbrecher and Wading River School teachers Melissa Levonick and Meredith Trani for coordinating the collections.
The Salvation Army program is an annual mainstay that encourages school and community members to make a difference by providing toys and clothing to local children in need.
